What is up with you guys not wanting to put miles on your cars? It is what they were built for for chrissakes!! And we have a couple people with closer to 400k and still going strong...one person on the original clutch!!

*** um ption.....My car was purchased 5 mos. ago. It's not and won't be my daily driver, I have two of those and don't need another. Some guys, like the one I bought mine from are into concours events, to each their own. I enjoy driving the machine on the twisty country roads when the weather's nice, most other folks are off the road, and the deer and the antelope are at rest

Why give anyone any stuff about how they drive their cars. I was having fun with my crazy miles, and the fact that I wouldn't be able to help myself. Hey to each his own. I'm hoping to buy his one day. It will eventually be one of the few that wasn't crunched, munched or raced. Take good care of it for me pocket!

Roger,
Very nice car however do GT seats not sit bit higher then the stock seat height ? I have infact started looking for my next car and so far i have my eyes set on '89 944 Turbo S,BMW /// M3 coupe ( love those flared fenders ) and a slant nose 930 Turbo..
Here's my 1991 C2 Turbo that i bought with 24K miles and it currently has 30,000,just can't get enough of it

Hey thanks guys for the enthusiasm. I love the car. I had it out today for about an hour and just couldn't get the grin off my face. It is an amazing machine. I really enjoyed my 996 too, but in a different way altogether. The 996 practically drove itself with all the electronic wizardry at work, and it was a very sporty yet comfortable street car ride. The 951, though extremely well-balanced as you guys know, feels like it could smack me in the **** at any minute if I take my mind off driving it. I like that visceral feeling.

2+2, Would love to see some pics of yours too!

Yasir, The GT 3 seats were installed when I bought the car so I don't have a comparison for you. I will say that I sit very upright in these. At first I didn't like it all. It was totally different than any seat I've used before. I've gotten used to it now though and actually like the seats a lot. I can feel what the rear end of the car is doing in my behind, which is I guess why race seats are designed as such. Love your 964 T, gorgeous. Post more pics

Yasir, Wow. She's gorgeous. Love the wheels too. I really like the look of the 964 and earlier 911s.

Default GT3 Seats

Pocket: I know you said that the seats were installed before you bought it, but do you who makes the brackets to mount to the floor? Are they on sliders or fixed? I have black leather GT3 seats, but I'm trying to find a way to mount them (sliders)! Any info is greatly appreciated.

I'll dig through the paperwork tomorrow and see if I can find the manufacturer. The seats are on sliders, and it's apparent that it wasn't a perfect match to the stock mount bolts.

Thumbs up GT3 sliders

Roger, thank you very much. I've been doing research, however I am somewhat geographically challenged, and coordinating my project from approx. 11,000 miles away. So given time zones and limited internet access you can imagine my stuggles . But like I said, I appreciate your help and any advice you can share. Your Porsche truly is tastefully enhanced. Congratulations on such a beautiful aquisition.
