Default Weltmeister 200# Spring Installation? Help!

The Weltmeister 200# front springs that I purchased from Paragon Product have the spring coil more tightly wound on one end of the spring v.s. the other end of the spring. Does this coil spring get installed over the strut with the more tightly coiled end at the top or is it installed with the more tightly coiled end at the bottom of the strut.

I don't think it matters, IIRC. However, there's a relief in the bottom spring perch on the strut housing that the coil end should set so I would think tight end up.

They are designed to be installed with the tight coils on the bottom. However, If you're savvy to unsprung weight, install it the other way to get a slight reduction.

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to drop us an email (below).

Good Luck!
