two choices for tial install?
Want to run this by the board, I have a 86 951 trying
to install the tial from SFR, have all the proper adapters
from Tim and copper gaskets, heres the catch the car has
a 1 piece cross over pipe, the top of the tial if tighted down
would really jam on the toq tube, i did the search thing and tryed
everthing mentioned so i call Tim at SFR the two options he gave
me are, grind the tube or cut and reweld the exhaust tube removing
some pipe. i had all adapters loose. can anybody shead
some light on this?

Not going to grind the touq tube or cut and weld the 1 piece crossover
forget that i will just send it back and get the dp from lindsey. there can't be that much difference if my goal is only 330-350 rwhp. anybody with pros-
cons on the two wastegates.

You can also use an angled port screwed into the top which is shorter than the top port that comes with the TiAL. There are a few people here with the 86 that have done it. I think SamGrant did this with his.
I recommend making the the Tial work over switching to a modified stock unit. Especially, when you'll be spending another $100 on the Lindsey.

Its too late, DP from lindsey is on its way, still have the tial
I'am just to busy right now to deal with the fab work, the car
will be going into storage soon have to get it off the jack stands
maybe all keep the tial and if tthe Dp bleeds off than all go through
the headache of changing it. hope this is the first and last time
that i waste money buying two parts the same.
