Going to order some tires this week, still haven't decided on Victoracers or RA1s, but what size would work best on 16" phones? My streets are 205/55-16 and 225/50-16, but I'll be running the wider wheels all around for track.

Should I stick with 225s at all four, or will the wider phones accept 245s? Bad idea?

 

I run a set of 245's on (4) 8" phones for my 86' 951.
Works GREAT, understeer is reduced alot, crisp turn in for sure. No rubbing issues.

 

I agree. That is exactly how I ran my street car and had the same conclusion about handling.

The 245's won't fit on the 7" front wheels very well, do you have (4) 8" rears?

 

Yep, 4 of them. My streets are 7 & 8, but 8" all around for the track tires.
