Default what are the first signs of a wastegate failing?

i still have the car going up to the 2 bar but it feels like i m losing power

stock wastegates tend to lose their spring force with age. if this is the case, you will not make much boost since the weak spring will have the valve almost always open.

If a damaged diaphram is the case, you will go overboost due to the leakage. It's like disconnecting the line that goes to the wastegate.
