Default Any one have a vented header panel for sale?

Hey guys

Well since my header panel kind of got ruined i was hoping to pick up some thing like the gt-racing header panel or any other vented header panel. I would like it to be white but if it isn't its not a huge deal. Thanks in advanced

I know JPR has one but he has not responded in the last 3-4 days or so.

I know someone who may be interested in parting with his. I believe it is a custom "one-off" nose panel. It IS vented though!

Ouch, my stg II lindsey intercooler got a dent but it's in good working condition and the coolant you see there in the floor it's from the Imbecile who rear ended me.

I have seen those. Its the lindsey racing stage 17 right? ment to flow like 500 times the amount of air because of its unique shape?

Just kidding, not trying to turn this into a flame thread. Just looking for header panel lol

TurboX,
Check out SFR. They will take your stock header panel and cut it the way you want it. Also, look up GT racing, they have a bunch of fiber glass and carbon fiber body pieces including header/nose panels. Just a thought, good luck.

You can fix that with a little Krylon.

I have one that I made out of a metal panel, with a rolled flange all the way around and it matches the lower opening shape and size perfectly. I am probably not going to put it on my new car, but I'm not going to sell it cheap either, it came out very nice and took a TON of effort to do (all hammer and dolly work, about 20 hours worth). If you (or anyone is interested, pm me and I'll see about posting a picture and we can talk.

It fits MUCH better than any of the aftermarket fiberglass units.

Regards,

nope, its like this...

You can't really pick out the detail of the vent in these pictures. I suppose I could reshoot it a different color to try to get a bit more contrast, but hopefully you'll get the idea. It fit the contour of my old 951 perfectly.

Thanks Scott
AAhh it's one big hole vs two smaller ones ..
Looks nice but, I would think it may not be as structurally strong as two smaller ones
As it is doesn't one have to remove the bracing to make the cuts ?
regards
Ed

Its all metal, so it doesn't deform like the fiberglass ones do. Its also been tested at speeds fast enough to prove its durability, ask Sam Grant for proof! lol
