Default Vitesse ST3 at AutoX - BIG file

Who said that the Vitesse Stage 3 didnt do well at AutoX?

See for your self This run was the fastest among ALL of the cars. Even beat a 400kg, 265hp Caterham. Actually the first time a 944 was the fastest ever at dry in an AutoX event with PCN! (Porsche Club Norway)

Big file, 41MB. The last part of the video is just me cooling down engine and brakes.

Glad you like the kit. More glad you were able to get the car running the way it should (has nothing to do with the kit). However, in an Auto-X the driver is 80% of the reason to win (if not more).

OT : Thomas....ain't it an idea to remove the "lindsey head" in your sig..? As the head is stock...and it still goes like a bat outta hell with the Vitesse kit. BTW,am I fixing that LR head?

Which one? The first Lindsey sent him, or the second?

LR head in sig is removed!

I`ve got 3 bad heads.. One sitting on right now (on top of me), the first LR sent me(totally toasted and sent back right away) and the last one with the bad leakdown numbers! If you remember, ST? 38% leakdown just in ONE cylinder. Valves didnt close good enought.

Right now its a OEM head in my car, from a 1985 951!

Skunk, yeah! We need to talk about my setup. Thinking about going for a 8v 3L, keep the turbo were it is now. Are going to get a hot side upgrade from John Vitesse for the turbo. Need you to match the bad LR head and the cam to my engine profile

I'll start making new valves and long guides then... Not going for the Turbo Relocation Kit after seeing the results in the graph I gave Big 4?

Skunk, yeah do so! I can dump the head at your place pretty soon! Its just laying here anyway..
Dont tempt me I`ve decided to go for the ordinar turbo mount place. That`ll be both the easiest and cheapest way for now. Later on we can do some reaserch with the relocate kit and 16v head! Need to build a complete racer soon, dont we?

Tempting is part of the game, isn't it?
It would be nice to have it here,so I can see how much I can improve on the LR head. I got the same numbers in my stock valved head that your LR St3 big-valve head had...up until I go beyond 13 mm lift that is. Don't know if I told you. Complete racer? If you don't build it,Big 4/Lars will...and if he doesn't, I will.
