Yep my tach is pretty worthless as well. First of all, it can't keep up in 1st and 2nd gear and it bounces around like a ping pong ball for 10 seconds after a quick shift. When my tach reads 6500 it is closer to 6000. To take it to the rev limiter (6800) I need to just about bury the needle.

Now that is music to my ears.

On the getting rid of the stock boost gauge.
Isn't the na gauge(without mpg and shift up) compatible for a clean swap?

Of course I cheated and just removed the boost part and put an overlay

Sorry gang, had to kill the vids, as they sucked up 8 gigs of my bandwidth.

geez.. how big (filesize) are the videos? I could host them for a while if you want. Maybe they could be compressed better to save bandwidth? I didn't get to see them yet so someone would have to get them to me.

alright, testarossa_td is uploading the files to my server. I have 20GB of free bandwidth I can spare, so I hope it lasts a couple days

For what it's worth, my tach reads the same at redline as both dynojets I've been on.

I'm trying to get testarossa to upload them to my server, but still waiting. he told me he had them, but maybe he doesn't have access to them right this second. is there anyone else who can upload them who has a good connection?

tedwright, do you mind if I continue to host them for those of us who missed it? Perhaps you can upload them.

Would someone else please host those vids! I need to make copies and send them off to a high-tech analyst I know in the film industry. He has a state of the art machine that he uses on all the Steven Spielberg films, which can shoot and freeze 500 frames per second. After he reviews them, he's then going to tell me about the validity of what he sees - if it's air-brushed, any trick photography used, or whatever. Something smells very fishy here, and I'm going to get to the bottom of it, dammit!

I don't mind at all. I would upload them to you myself, but my connection is a joke for whatever reason. I pay for the fastest service the cable company offers, too!

Try TCP Optimizer at speedguide.net -- it tripled the throughput of my dsl by tweeking the Windows registers and settings... the program does it all...

Yeah, I think I may have to do that. I'll come up there with my whole gang. We'll have digital cameras, cam corders, and the whole nine! There's a very rotten fish up there in NY, and me and "the Italian-boyz" will get to the bottom of it. As I've said to a few people before, don't mess with Italians, especially from the east-coast. If we find out your lying, you done!
