Default Fearing the Rainy Season

I stepped out of my car today on my walk to work and i noticed that we had some cloud cover. the rainy season is nigh on the west coast, i know most of you east-coasters and those of you in the south have the rain season already, so i'm wondering if anyone has any good tips for decent-performing rain tires. i currently run Falken GRB FK-451's 225 and 245 respectively, and when i hit a bit of wet, like in a corner or when i'm braking i either start spinning the rears or lock up the fronts...and eventually lock up the rears. i've managed to save myself more than once (that's what i get for practicing rain drifts in my old supra and my old camry), but i dont know how long it's gonna keep up. anyone have any suggestions?

Having lived for awhile in the "land of fruit and nuts" I am convinced that most California drivers can not drive in any weather other than bright and sunny. When the weather becomes less than ideal, one must slow down and allow for extra stopping distance. That being said my Fuzions have proven capable in rain heavy enough to require wipers on fast whilre maintaining 75 mph.

I have used and like both the Goodyear F1 GS-D3 and the Bridgestone S0-2 in the rain. I currently have the F1 GS-D3 on my 996. Both are excellent wet weather tires.

i think anything that works on a rear-heavy car like a 911 would work fine for my 50/50 951. i've heard TERRIBLE things about khumos on anything but like, econoboxes or drift queens.

ok fine, in sacramento it's almost the "damp" season, as in, parking lots are wet in the morning and my windshield is fogged up.
