Question Does anyone still make old school BBS style wheels for the 951?

I did a search and didn't seem to find anything on this topic.

Does anyone know if there is any place that makes the old school style BBS wheels(nice polished lips and basket weave pattern) for the 951 anymore? I have seen two 944's with some lately in 16 inch and I think they look great and match the car perfect. I am sure if I watched ebay or the classifieds some might pop up once in a blue moon, so I am just wondering if there are any places that might make them new still.

I like the BBS LM style wheels, but they are a bit more modern then the ones I am thinking about. They are also way more then I want to spend considering they are close to 1k per wheel.

I think its Ronal or somebody still makes the BBS style wheel I am thinking of for older BMW's etc. The style I am talking about was very popular in the 80's when the 944 was new.

Hi Potent,

I have 4 3 piece BBS RS 16" wheels w/gold centers. The rears have some curb rash on the lips, otherwise they're in good shape. PM me if you're interested, I can take some pics tonight. BTW, they have almost new Dunlop SP8000's on them.

Are you looking for early or late offset wheels?

I have a set of BBS replica wheels made by ARE that came with my 86 turbo. If you want, I can take some pictures and send them to you.

Thank you
Tom

Greg- Yeah I would be interested in seeing your wheels and maybe a thought on the price.

Tom- I am also very interested in the wheels you have. I would be looking mainly for the early offset but would be interested in the late also since I have one of both.

Both of you, please let me know. Thanks!

Thank you

Here's a link to some pics of the wheels. By the way, the wheels are two piece and the chrome lugs are included.

Wheels

Thanks
Tom
