In answer to the question, with stock boost, stock engine, etc on a stock k26/6 it is NOT possible to achieve 300hp. Look at it this way, on the stock "street" chips, the car makes 220hp, even with some really good factory tuning on some cup chips you could expect MAYBE a "slight" increase upto 250hp. 300hp on stock boost levels and a stock engine and a stock turbo? No way I dont see it happening.

[Edit] Even if you could get a free flowing exhaust and Tim's 4 to 1 headers I STILL dont see it happening.

Add SFR headers? full 3" exhaust? JME intake? Water injection and advance ignition? IC pipes?

Headers and exhaust are free.

Intake and IC pipes must be stock. Water injetion is not allowed. You can advance ignition.

Anyone....

I think with a dam good custon one off race gas tune and open downpipe you could make up 50 HP..

dosent seem that unreasonable..

but i am allways optimistic..

So you are asking, can we get 80HP from more advance and race gas and trimmed AFR? I say, hell no.

and doesn't free mean you can mess with the exhaust.

the guy said the chip retarded timing or something. and shot flames down the exhaust. and also messed with a/r mixtures. but that sounds more like an antilag strategy to me.

but of course. i dont argue with numbers.

disclaimer. i am 90% positive this car made 300hp at the crank.

Headers and exhaust are free? Maybe dude - but you can't have a one molecule leak intake or exhaust.
Are you allowed to ensure that you keep 11 pounds boost until redline?

Gonna be very difficult.

The old Weltmeister chips added 70 hp to an S...but it upped the boost with a wastegate shim.

The Weltmeister chips didnt then add 70HP, it possibly allowed it to in conjunction with adding boost. I doubt too much more came from AFR and timing.

I know of one turbo Cup car that had the block shaved for increased compression, the Porsche engineers who controlled the cars after the races had trouble finding out why this car was more powerfull than other identical cars. The did figure it out though and asked the team to buy a replacement engine. It was a Swedish team btw..
