Default Sale on Expansion Tanks Until Sept. 23rd

First the disclaimer (So i don't get attacked by the Rennlist Police):
Ben Wornall (HY M8NC) and myself work for Imagine Auto. We are both members, Imagine Auto is a Rennlist site sponsor, and Stephen Kaspar who owns Imagine Auto is a Lifetime Rennlist Member. Ted Wright has given me the OK to run the sale since all the qualifications mentioned above were met.

Imagine Auto is running a special on coolant expansion tanks for the 944 turbo and NA until September 23rd. There has been some interest in a couple other threads. As was discussed in those threads, there really isn't any money to make in these tanks, so group buys don't really work. Instead Ben Wornall (HY M8NC) and myself decided to just run a sale:

So here is the gig:
944 Turbo Tank: $120.00 + Shipping
944 NA Tank: $80.00 + Shipping

If you are interested or have any questions, shoot us a PM, email, or phone call
My email is karl@wilen.us or wookie@imagineauto.com
Ben's email is bwornall@imagineauto.com
The shop number is 913-310-9927
Shop hours are 8-5 central, After hours I will respond to email at karl@wilen.us pretty much all night (I have no life).

We can accept paypal, credit card, check, money order, first born child, etc.

Also, Ben and I will be out of the office Friday through Sunday (9-11th)due to business, so we may not be able to respond to emails on those days.

Maybe the moderator can make this a sticky?

good time to get rid of those ugly yellowed tanks and get nice shiny white ones! Might as well order a new cap at the same time.

Why order a new cap? A friend of mine had a VERY ugly looking cap. He took some metal polish to it, and in less than a minute, it looked better than a new one... Try it first, since it's cheap
Unless of course your old cap leaks or something.

well a new cap has a new ring on it, a new pressure spring on it, and it looks new, all for under 10 bucks (I think, I know I paid 6)

Karl,
How about a corresponding sale on the windshield washer tank and brake/clutch fluid resevoir? I purchased a new coolant tank last year and can't stand how ugly the other two tanks look. Just a thought.

Very easy, probably less than a half hour start to finish, and will also require bleeding of the coolant system, which is not difficult either.

Hmmm... Very tempting. Mine's nasty. I've got two trips this month though, so we'll have to see how the finances are looking. It'll be a last minute thing. Sorry. We'll be in touch.

I'm wondering about the windshield washer tank as well. I was considering taking a buffer and some plastic polish to it, see what happens, but it would be really nice to have a backup for when I mess mine up

The new one looks great, thanks. Still need to install it. FWIW, I did mine without bleeding the coolant, just refilled slowly and all seems fine. If you don't monkey with the hoses too much, they re-fill without any problems.
