Default Another option for SS Fuel Lines

Has anyone considered using Stainless Steel Swagelok fittings for plumbing the fuel lines ? Swagelok has numerous fittings and adapters so finding the correct fittings should not be a problem. Also, do you think instead of the braided hose, the lines can be replaced altogether with steel tubing, or is there a reason, they have to be flexible ?

Have to be flexible to handle the engine moving and the vibration.
