Default Looking for advice on boost gauge install

was searching the archives for a good writeup but couldnt find anything

I will be installing a VDO vision in the lindsey din panel. Was thinking of tapping the klr line since that seems the easiest. is that a good place to tap or would I get a better reading for the engine bay.

Can some one give the right size for the tee to tap the klr?

thnks

You can check out my install HERE

Scroll down to the bottom of the page. I tied into the FPR and spliced the ashtray light for switched power.

This install is extremely clean when done right.

The KLR line is fine. You'll want a vacuum hose T with a 1/8" inside diameter. You won't get the plastic T to slide into the boost line as it is a hard line.
