Default I believe there is a GOD.

My belts have been squeaking for the longest today. I decided to take my car to the mechanic to replace them, also I wanted to change my timing belt. While at the mechanic's shop I was sharing with him the dangers of fire due to a hose failure by the fuel dampener and I remembered Claus's story( https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...light=dampener) about a leaking fuel line. I have the Racing Dynamics Strut Tower Bar and I decided to look underneath and you know what I found??? A HUGE bubble on the fuel line that attaches to the dampener. It looked like it was about to burst! It could have become a moving torch! I Would like to replace my fuel lines with steel braided fuel lines. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I went with the SFR SS fuel line "kit". Held up well for over 2 years so far. I also have the RD strut brace Its pretty, but watch it rubbing on the hood bracing.

I had to check the username, I thought this was more Christian spam.

I had a similar experience, I was at my shop and I think the parts guy mentioned something about the hose. We end up popping my hood just as conversation, what do you know, a bubble on the short hose. Hes like "Want me to order you one?" Me: "Hell ya"

Same thing just happened to me. I noticed it and a week later it popped. 93+xylene spraying all over a hot engine, pooling up under the intake manifold and no fire!! I had to have a friend overnight me a new one.

PS- Lart, why did you change your avatar? I really enjoyed the other one!

I got Lindsey's. I like 'em. They arrived the day after I ordered. Real fittings - no hose clamps...

to install the braided lines do I have to cut the metal line that goes to the dampener and attach the braided line from there?
