Tim has been making these (as well as FULL harnesses) for like 6 years, but just on an as-needed basis.

I will wait and let him chime in on the other questions.

Can we get some more info on the harnesses? A lot of people have expressed interest, but we don't have any info. What's the deal?

Sorry for not getting on here sooner.Computer problems. We have been building wiring harnesses for quite awhile for these cars.Normally we are building TEC3 harnesses from scratch but I told TED that we could do the fuel injectors harnesses for this group buy.Basically what we will do is use four brand new Bosch style injectors clips and wire them up (with a high qaulity copper wire)to reach the DME.The wiring will be protected with a Fire braid sheathing which is capable of withstanding about 1200F.The problem with the sheathing is that is has a tendancy to fray so we use aircraft qaulity heat shrink on the ends of the injectors and at every merge. This will keep the harness intact for years. You also have your choice of colors, blue, black, red and yellow. The yellow will get pretty dirty fairly quickly so you might want to pass on this color.I will try and dig up some pictures and post them here when I get a chance

At $119 or less, count me in. I like the idea of the shrink wrapping to prevent frays.

The shrink wrapping really isn't an improvement over the Lindsey unit. If anything it makes this setup less appealing than Lindsey's kit. The purpose of the heat wrap is to prevent the wire insulation from being exposed to the heat. By using shrink wrap on the exterior, you're exposing a similar material to the same heat. It looks like Lindsey folds the braiding which is more labor intensive but more in line with the intent of the braiding manufacturers.

That's my take on it and why I'll dish out the extra $30.
