Is it going to be a high comp. engine.............Bob Norwood's engine comes to mine!(3.0..16v...10.0 CR..dry sump....big turbo...and about 900 Bhp.)
Sorry I got to go!...........I'm drooling all over my desk.

you're selling the engine because there is something wrong with it. it's best to figure out what's wrong with it so you know how much it would take to fix the problem. then you can figure out how much it's really worth. compression and leakdown numbers at a minimum before you can start guessing at it's worth i'd say.
good condition might get close to the same assembled as it would parting it out without spending too much extra time.

No misinformation my friend.
This engine,(a race engine of course) on its inital tuning runs produce 560 Bhp at 14 PSI with no less than 540 ft/lbs. At 24 PSI (now in the car) ,the engine was puting out 710.4 RWhp and a healthy 669 ft/lbs at the rear wheels. Like I said, this is on the early tuning phase. Eventualy the car recive a polish turbo and other upgrade. By this time the engine was close to 900 Bhp. If you want to read the story, you should pick up a back issue #78 of Excellence, pages 127-131. I think Turbo Magazine had a good article on the car back in 98-99.

You will have to take my word for it, but this is false. I believe excellence wrote this, but they are full of ****. Sorry to act like it was your fault for saying this. Yes I know this from first hand experience.
