My 87 with a fresh rebuild and bone stock ( minus the cat) was 197 RWHP. About what all the others are providing you.

You're sure about 12 % loss I thought I was 28...
Look at my dyno sheet, it's solid proof of exactly 12% driveline loss.

What you actually drove was a 944 with a Callaway turbo system OR a 951, there was never a Callaway 951. The Callaway 944 I drove some years ago was not very impressive, I would rather have ALL the goodies that are on the 951 anyway.
Oops, your correct. I wasnt very impressed either. Im sure a real 951 will be better.

THANKS FOR ALL THE RESPONSES. Im sure glad I joined this forum.

Hopefully I can get a ride/test drive the first 951 I looked at this week. Im excited because I've wanted a 944 Turbo for a long time now and I thought at first maybe the callaway was faster....I was wrong after reading the articles shared. Its odd though, even though the callaway has more HP than a stock 951, the 951 accelerates quicker. Nothing beats Porsche engineering!

Rich, I know you from F6 (aka satelles18r), thanks for the dyno.
