Question Which shocks to use... Need Opinions

Ok, I need to replace my struts up front and my shock out back. Any opinions on which to go with? I am looking at converting my fronts to Koni with adjustable coil overs or Bilstein. Out back I was looking at either bilsteins or Konis both with coil overs. What do you think?

my konis are fantastic - some people say that they're too light, but of course that's dependent on application. konis are fine for the street, but on the light end of race applications. i don't have any experience with the bilsteins, but i have heard nothing but great things about both coilover applications. if i had a few more bucks i would be going with the koni coilovers.

Get the Koni conversion from paragon for the struts and a pair of Koni shock for the rear. It's the best value out there.

I don't know the availability in the US but I went with KW Variant 3. Height, bump and rebound adjustable front and back, fits like it was OEM with all the brackets for ABS wires, air deflectors etc. and with stainless bodies and polyurethane perches so they don't corrode up and high-speed bypass valves so they can cope with sudden impacts like riding kerbs on a track. £1349 delivered to my door.

I've got the Bilstein Sports front and rear, and the car is lowered 1"-I love it. They are perfect for the street, I've only had it on the track once-and they felt good there. It was a debate between Koni and Bilstein for me, and Scott Harrison (sh944) talked me into the Bilsteins. Apparently there is a post on here which compares the two.

I've seen the CROSS coil over suspension for these, but have no experience driving a car with that set-up. Looks pretty good though-

Depends on what your goals are, but you might want to contact Karl at Racer's Edge regarding the Leda shocks/coilover kits.

Can a bilstein shock with 150lb spring be used along with the stock torsion bar without reindexing?

I don't think so if you put pre load into them, but you have about 1 inch to adjust up or down.
