Can't Remove Eccentric Bolt on Strut?

I'm replacing my 18 year old Boge front struts finally and installing the Koni yellow inserts. I can't get the eccentric bolt out. I have the nut off, but the bolt won't go through?

HELP!!!!!

Try turning the bolt, when the holes line up it should slide out. That is what worked for me.

There is a notch on the bolt a flat spot that has to be lined up with a flat spot on the strut. Try turning the bolt until you see them line up!
