Cool Feeler FS: Guru chips 15psi

I am getting a MAF kit from Vitesse next week and won't need my Guru chips that I have in my car. Just looking how much I could get for them. The chips are for 15psi and work great with no problems. Only the chips will be in the deal because I still need the boost controller and fuel reg. Now, the good part, Danno sent me 24 pin DME chip the first time and I have the 28 pin DME computer (was upgraded somewhere along the line). So, I have the KLR chip and a 24 DME chip plus 28 pin DME chip. Now you don't have to worry if it will work for you car, just need the 3 FBR and 15psi set by a boost controller. It won't be for for sale for at least 10 days but looking if anyone wants to chime with a good price to ask or get.

With these chips, Tial 38 WG and 3" cat-bypass really, these chips got me 242 RWHP and 296RWTQ on 16psi with pump fuel. These chips are good and worth it.

I can vouch for mike...he is honest and a pleasure to do business with. If your thinking of buying chips and dont want to pay retail hes a good guy to deal with.

If you don't have chips, these are the best upgrade for our cars!

Thanks guys. Yea, the chips are great but I wanted a MAF plus a piggyback to fine tune since I have the cat-bypass and Tial. I can tell you, that these chips really make a stock car come alive with power and mid range TQ!! So, let me know what a good offer would be for the chips. You can get the reli-boost (that comes with the kit and I recommend) or another boost controller plus a 3 bar fuel reg. or an adjustable one set to 3 bar. Those are not that expensive items to buy. These chips also do NOT run lean in upper RPM even with my Tial wastegate which holds upper boost better then stock.

How much would you want for these 3 chips? Or if you can sell the KLR and 24 DME chip seperately, I only want the 28 pin DME.

That is what I am asking, what the chip(s) would be worth? I could sell the DME 28 pin seperate if possible.

Oh ok, yeah I have no idea what Guru chips are worth used. I'll let others here decide that. Just out of the blue I'll offer ~$50 for just the 28 pin DME since I see most used chip sets go for $100, KLR and DME.

how long have you had these chips? i have an 86 and might be interested in the chips, i have some old huntly chips in mine now dont think they raised the boost any, i had a reli boost but lost it,

with these chips to work i would need a boost controler(reli boost)and a 3 bar fuel regulater? new waste gate? tial? cost of these 3 items total
and would get 242 rwhp? i have a 3 inch exhaust with a gutted cat
would i need a high flow fuel pump?

$125 plus shipping in a well protected case dont want the pins broken

thats what i would offer

well, if you have the 24 pin, LET ME KNOW!! That would work good because Eniac has first on the 28 if I split them. Well, you need a boost controller set to 15psi, 3 bar fuel regulator. That is it to get the chips to work right.

You CAN put in a new wastegate or just shim the one you have if you want but mine was going out anyways, that is why I replaced. I also just put in a high flow fuel pump because I had to replace mine as well, but that didn't do anything for lower HP numbers. Also, same goes for my cat-bypass, I had some extra cash and my car won't pass our emissions check now, so now I can swap in a cat for testing if needed. Also, if you want that kind of power, 242rwhp, you HAVE to have your car up in good condition as well. I have done just about everything to get this car in good-great running condition including vacuum line, plugs, wires, rotor, cap, oil, tranny fluid, WP, belts, etc etc. You can ask Wes that is on here, he rode with me on the 944 fest in my car and saw it on the dyno as well. When the boost kicks in, it kicks in!

The Reli-boost is $39 from boostsciences.com and the 3 fbr $54.94 from Lindseyracing. You might be able to find cheaper, but those are actual prices from their websites. Also, make sure you have a boost guage to measure the boost you are pushing though the car. Just remember, always start with the lowest amount of boost and work your way up.

I have close to $6k into my car with maintence and upgrading in just over 2 years. That is without having anything major go out as well as me doing most of the work. Just to give you an idea of how much time / money I have into the car and looking it over.
