I can never remember it exactly but its something like 172mph (limited by the gearing 'standard rev limiter in 5th) My car could easily hit it with less than 310hp so your limited by the gears.

I have mine up to an indicated 162 mph and was still climbing before I let off because I ran out of room. Once you get above 150 it takes a while to pull the rest out of it - this was back when my car was stock. (89 Turbo). I've only had it up to 140 mph with the Vitesse Stage 3 but it did seem to get there rather quickly.

I can agree that in my car, getting to 140ish is quick, after that you just sit there and watch the needle climb slowly and then more slowly

Fastest I have been is around 130, i just don't have to guts to go any faster, i don't want to know what can happen to me if I get pulled over....And I'm only 19, so i am sure the cop wouldn't be too happy lol

I have also had 170+ but I am sure my gauge is generous too.

We should ask Nexoline how fast he had his car going.

With the lights down, it should pretty much be limited by revs, gearing and tire size. GPS verified:

In my opinion from what I read in different forums it is risky to have arround 6000 revs on the clock - may result in a blown engine because of loss of oil. I think this migth be possible beacause my engine consumed for 300 km as much as 2 dl of oil with arround 5000 revs and this is huuge!!! After a rebuild the oilconsum is near zero now - but autobahn test has still to come. In a german forum a 928 owner reported after a longer full throttle autobahn ride a blown engine- piston went through the bottom end if I rembember correctly. I guess the oil consumption of my engine was caused by the valve seals... but I don't know because piston rings have beed replaced too.
So watch your revings - kind regards Frank (it is not a Honda...)
