They certainly are a different beast in person, the technical aspects of the car are incredible. And the shape and lines are much more impressive IRL

The first time I saw some was in Stuttgart.
There was one in the factory museum and another one in the service area.
They left me as cold as any given 911, but I loved the grey/white colour pattern of the seats - leather for the one parked outside and cloth for the one in the museum.

[Flame suite on]They're an icon of the 80s and look better in real, but physically they just look like a 911 with a body kit.[/Flame suit off]

I saw one today as well in Los Gatos CA. It was being flatbedded somewhere. They're beautiful. Maybe people are starting to drive them more...

Having had the honor of owning one for a few years now I can say that from a driving/engineering stand point it is hard to imagine this car was built in the mid 80's. Truly amazing.

No, I didn't use a tripod.

Some came out blurry, so I ditched those. I only uploaded the good ones.

They were taken using a Canon Poweshot S50, I wish I had taken my brother's S1 IS, I might've been able to lower the ISO.

Great shots from the show, Thanks!

I haven't seen a 959 in person ... but they look great in all my books The closest I came to a cool car in person is a 30's Excaliber .... not a 959, but a wild car in any case.

May I see a 959 soon!
