hello
it was a lot of work to do it right. you need at leats 18 Inch wheels and not even all of them are fit.
I aslo used spacers removed teh whole axles and hubs maschined them etc.
My car is an early 1984 951 Prototype. I think it will be easier on the 87 + cars.
The calipers are twice as big as the original 951 calipers. just look how much space teh take comparing to the 355 mm Rotors.
After I put the 3 L Engine in my 951 and maxed the injectors at only 0,5 bar boost the big brakes were neccesary for this car

not even the 2001 race BBS Gt3 cup wheels fits so I would double check with your wheels before I make an update for 7000 $
a caliper alone cost 1300 $ new
one caliper bolt 25 $ and so on
Wheels, tires, maschining and labor do not included;-)

So whats are the performance numbers compared to OEM, Big Reds, and the setup you got?
Id like to see some real world figures comparing the all in comparison, would interested to know.
60-0 / 80-0 / 100-0 / ETC
Id love to see a chart with data comparisons, would be really useful to people thinking of going this or other routes.

I had carbon metalics before. They brake realy good. I coold lock all 4 tires at 180 km/h at the Autobahn.
I also tried the Big reds in my friends car or the 996 Turbo brakes etc etc. They are good but they are not a comparison to the 6 Pistons with racing rotors and pads.
when i brake now the car start braking really good for about 2 sec. after 2 sec teh racing pads heat up have the right temp and teh car STOPS immediately.
I can brake in half distance from 250 km/h at the Autobahn (somparing to my old brakes) and I do not even use 60% of teh braking power .
I am more woried that the whole axle or something else on the car will break from teh serius braking power.
I do not have to wory about brakes again after i went out of teh track with overheated brakes tow times now.
I would say this is much ,ore than enough but I like it as it is. better to much than not enough brake power.
only downside is teh weight.
the pads alone weight 3 times more than teh stock one and the rotors also weight 8kg more each. (100% more than the stock one)
I did not weighted teh calipers but they are also a little more heavier than the stock one.
The only downside is te eprice and the weight (which I do not notice while driving)
everythything else is perfect!
They are even more quite than the stock one and I do not even use the silence dampers for teh pads.

Thats great Konstantin. Thats just what you need for the Autobahn. Thats what i need for when im doing about 240 km/h on the Autobahn, and have to bring it to a stop because of the carzy traffic jam's here.
