I'm fixing an oil leak at the oil line adaptor into the base of the oil filter manifold. According to PET the p/n for the seal ring is 900.123.011.30. I have in my inventory some rings with p/n 900.123.011.20. They are dimensionally identical, and appear to be aluminum (just like the .30's).
Any reason why I shouldn't use these?
Porsche parts catalog lists the .30 part as "Seal Ring A22x27", and the .20 part as just "Seal Ring". Anyone know what the difference might be?
I'd like to use the right ones, but I'd also like to complete this tomorrow (Sunday) and my local dealer would most likely have to order them as they never have anything in stock.
Thanks,
Jon.

Not sure about the ...20 part number. However, I can tell you this. I was at Parts Heaven a few weeks ago and I bought those exact seals 22x27 (I.D and O.D, all aluminum). The parts guy told me they were identical to the aluminum washer used on the oil drain plug (they come out of the same bin at Parts Heaven). I checked when I got home and they indeed seemed to be a perfect match. So, if you can get your hands on the oil drain plug washers, you should be set.
