Expansion tank thoughts...
Well a couple of things, my turbo is not water cooled, so I could remove the entire metal water pipe and make a rectangular ally tank in the cavity below where the distributor used to be... or I could keep the pipe and make a cylinderical tank and mount it where the turbo water pump used to be. The stock tank just takes up too much space and looks like crap. If I get rid of it, it also open up ideas for a sealed air box in that cavity and allow a decent sized filter in...

without h20 going to your turbo, how much back fill do you get when the car has been on a long hot drive? I know the tank on mine, only fills just over max, under pressure, when cooling off, so I guess it's an issue of volume, and shape. It seems like more effort than it's worth though. Can't you delete the headlights, or are the authorities in NZ too strict?

NZ951,
With such a clean 951- do you find yourself confined in such a small landmass without enough roads? I know your country is absolutely picturesque, and beautiful- but curiously, what has been your fastest full lap, circling your country?
