If your going with the German flag theme do the valence in yellow nose in red and the hood in black. But that might look too rice. Maybe just the first few inches.

What a hoot, folks. Just checked in after two days of autoxing at the Cumberland Airport. Beaten by the wind, burnt by the sun but still willing...and enjoying the ideas. Agreed, this thing could go either way. Nobody seems neutral in person, either

Autoxed my NA, ran 21st out of 63 overall on Saturday and third in CSP behind well driven Miata and full track 914 who came 6th and 9th overall (about the same today overall, but lower in class)...used the yellow nose 951S as a support vehicle and it looked at home among the comp cars, but a little odd in the dime store windows as I drove home. More soon, as either inspiration or embarrasment moves the hand or eye forward.
