Not your 944 magazine

Talk about the Maxim version of an incorrectly-named bachelor's mag! I have considered launching a world-class glossy magazine devoted to the 951 and derivitives, but the subscriber base seems to be diminishing yearly, for this best-kept-secret.

I was going to say that Porsche's lawyers will be calling them, but USPTO says they own the trademark... 951 is also trademarked, and not by Porsche but by some clothing company.

For porsche to keep the 944 name trademarked, I believe that they'd have had to produce a product that used it within a certain timeframe after 1991. This is supposedly why Ford applied the Cobra name to Mustang derivatives in the 70's, 80's, and beyond.
