Need front left fender for '88 951S
Is anyone parting out a car or know where I might get a left front fender for my '88 951S?
If so, can you advise of the condidtion, price and location so I can assess shipping costs.
I'm looking for one that will take minimal prep for painting.
Thanks much,
Rick

Burning Brakes
When you find one, just make sure that the seller packs it correctly, especially with extra stiffening & reinforcement around the tips and corners. I've had more bad luck with this lately than I care to remember, with sellers doing incredibly sloppy packing, even after being specifically told to be careful.
Also, insist the seller label the box as FRAGILE on all sides, and get lots of insurance. Even so, if it shows up with damage, expect the shipping company so simply blame the seller for poor packaging, and you'll have to wait for the dispute to be resolved.

I'm still looking and hoping for one that won't need anything more than light prep/painting. I thought I had one but they haven't responded to a number of emails so perhaps they're not wanting to sell anymore.
Thanks much,
Rick

I got one locally with perfect paint on it off an S2 for $300 bucks. Sold the 16 valve badge for 20 bucks. $280 bucks total. If you need a baseline. What are you looking to pay?
