What is the direction of rotation of the crank on our engines?

Standing in front of the car looking back at the crank pully, does it turn clockwise or counter-clockwise when running? (It's been a while since mine ran...).

I need to prine the oil pump and can't remember which direction is "backwards"...

Im pretty sure it spins clockwise when youre looking at the crank pulley from the front.

Again, been a while since mine ran, but thats the direction I remember turning it when doing the belts...

Clockwise. It will prime itself when you crank the engine with the DME relay out.
