Default Low boost pressure

I need some advise. I have a 1987 944 turbo and the stock boost gauge will not go past the 3rd mark after the #1 on the factory boost gauge. I am running:
Lindsey chips
Lindsey boost enhanser
Fabspeed 3" cat-delete
Lindsey 4" catback
Lindsey bov
Lindsey adj. fuel pressure regulator
I have replaced all the vaccum lines and pressurised the system. I have a small leak at the bottom of the idle stabiliser valve but have been told that this should not cause the car to boost up th the #2 mark on the gauge.
I removed the Air meter and J-boot to inspect the turbo. No play in the shaft and blades are not damaged.
I than disconected the hose going to the waste gate the gague did not change and the car ran no diffrent. Any one with any ideas?

is the boost enhancer set right? don't ask me how to, but I'm sure if you do a search, you'll find the correct settings.

Are you sure it's not the wastegate? I thought the wastegate did not need the signal to open if it can't hold the boost. I did the wastegate test too, and it still was the cause of my low boost.

I stuck a bolt in the line going to the wastegate, and hoseclamped it real tight. Took it out for a spin (carefull!), if the wastegate is good then the car should make serious boost, like 20+psi. It did not boost past 14 or so, now with the new Tial, I get all the boost I need.

Dude, who told you that? If the ISV is actually leaking air, then that is your problem!! One side goes to the IC pipe, and the other to the IM. Cap off those bungs and give the car a try!

If u have a vaccuum leak, when the turbo spools up then u have a boost leak. Easy check to verify the BOV ports are not open, just pull it and verify u can't blow thru it.

I have installed a new lindsey bov. It operates with a hand held vaccum tester so I dont think thats the problem. This is very frustrating.

When u pulled and plugged the hose connected to the wastegate, u did plug the end of the hose going to the manual boost controller/ cv/ or banjo bolt on the turbo output pipe...right???? Otherwise u plugged the wrong end of the hose.

Yes, I put a bolt on the hose. When boost did not increase I than pluged the line to the boost enhancer. Still no boost increase.

Gregg, if your ISV is leaking, as in externally, then you have a boost leak! Plug these 2 bungs and give it a try.
