Default Aluminum Power steering resv. Group Buy is about to start

Hey Guys
Well it looks like we will start this tomorrow. I need to speak to Mike one more time on the final details and once that's done we can start the GB. Mike has been away at a show for the last week + and is due back tomorrow.
So, all those that are interested ... Stay tuned ...
Best regards
Ed

Ed,
Did you find out if the Forge has a dipstick attached to that cap or some way to gage fluid level? Between the two 944's and the BMW I have 3 of those leaky plastic tanks and hate all of them...the OE is a bad design IMHO

I gauge it by sight, even with the dipstick.

Hey Steve
I need to get a few things answered. That will be one and the other that people were asking is, does it have a filter ... The answer is I don't know, but it does have a false bottom like our tanks have ...
So I will ask ...
Regards
Ed

Is this the same tank that is on our discovery? I have no PS on the p-car, but I think our disco has the same leaky ZF tank. I will check for sure tomorrow, but if they are the same, count me in!

I'd be interested in this, however I suspect my PS hoses are leaking too. Does anyone have upgraded hoses?

That tank is sexy and will definitely make my car I'm down if the price is within reason.

Check the thread about a week or so ago ... David Floyd had what seemed to be a great fix ...

ps or you could also use super stock hose by Earl's ( also know as sockless by aeroquip (sp?) ) They are made to convey oils
