Default Control Valve 944 110 429 00 in Fuel vapor purge system

I do not believe on my eyes, looking at the price of this small metal valve (12)
Over 500$ !!!
Well, before go ahead with the replacement I will like ot know some facts.
Mine is always open and under extrem vacum condition starts to close.
However never be able to apply over 250 mHg as this is the limit of my hand vacum pump.
Is this a normal condition ?
I do not believe that this valve is always open, and closes only when extrem vacum occurs, which is practicaly only the case when you under load, go off gas Pedal.

Does someone tested the functionality of this part?
Thanks for your time
Theo

Thing is, i don't remember if it was opening or closing when applying vacuum or positive pressure, but mine opens and closes, this is when using the Mityvac giving 20Hg vacuum or 10+psi positive pressure, sounds like you have a faulty part.

I have applied max of vacum possible using my Mityvac & the ports are still open.
The adjusted screw on the top did not makes much different.
Unfortunately did not applied any pressure assuming that is only vacum controled.
Wormhole, I will come back to your offer when I will make some more tests.
I am living in Germany and that's expensive just to send me for test only.
Thanks again all of you, replied to my question.
