I bought the deluxe kit (still have it somewhere), he felt the ball pin itself should be replaced, and he wasn't keen on the nylon parts.
He had previously seen the SSI kit and liked its construction.
Comparing them he does have a point, and it is under a lot of load so I went with his judgement.

My SSI kit blew up in a year and only 4000ish miles. I won't purchase another.
The brass bushings work-hardened and cracked into little sharp shards. AFAIK, the Rennbay race kit (pictured above) with the metal upper bushings and the smooth pins is a much better kit. I've got that installed now until I install my charley-like arms.
