What years didn't come with the 180mph speedo? My 87 has the 180 speedo.

You can drop the 180 speedo in an '86 and it will still work ok. That's what a PO had done to my car, took me a couple of years to figure that out...

I was thinking about buying it, but MPH is useless to me. If I could find a 300KMH speedo, id be happy.

Make your own gauges..
My 87 na had one. The 180 is good until 20 then they start diverging at 40 and from there on out it is a guessing game.

There is an 86 944 Turbo here that has the 300kpr (180mph) speedo.

You can also send you're stock speedo (160mph or 180mph) to a gauge calibration shop, such as North Hollywood Speedo. They calibrate the speedo (charge between $50 and 80$) and if you like to upgrade from a 160mph to a 180mph (or in kpr) speedo, add another $30.
