Default T04E compressor housing hole

What's the threaded hole in the front of the compressor housing supposed to be used for? Do we cap it off on our cars? I got my super 61 at work today, and noticed it at first glance.

That is probably for the wastegate control line, where it would be for most cars. I think for our cars, you would want to block that off with a bolt or something, and continue to use the IC pipe banjo bolt for wastegate control. . . .

Yep ....block that puppy off. A quick trip to home depot or OSH should fix it.

thanks guys, that's what I thought. It came with a couple of plugs that appear to be the same size as the restrictor plug. I just need to make sure the thread is correct.
