Default Chips and FPR?

i have an 86 951 completely stock except for a cat bypass. I just recently fixed an overboost problem and im now running about 1.7 bar on the gauge. Im about to purchase the AutoThority Chips and an Accuboost from boost sciences. Is it a good idea to get a 3bar FPR?

If it's not too late, the best bang for your money is vitesse chips, you will get more power than autothority. Here is the link

http://www.vitesseracing.com/

do a search on chips and you will see that vitesse is the way to go.

Yeah, I have some Autothority chips, they're alright. I'm going to get some Vitesse chips very soon. If you're deadset on Autothority, check around the list. They go all the time for $50-$100.

If you go with the Autothority chips you do not want to install an accuboost as they are programmed to work with the Autothority bango bolt supplied with their chips

Joe is correct, Autothority chips aren't programmed to hold constant boost pressure up to redline. The Accuboost (AFAIK) is designed to do that, meaning you would be lean probably after about 4,500RPMs or so.

vitesse chips are one of the best if not the best chips to get for the 951.yes they are programed for a specific boost, but holding the boost depends on you wastegate and whether u got a vacuum leak or not.

Yes they are, my car bleeds down to about 13 by redline which is why I'm richer.
