Lightbulb Ceramic Coating? Which parts?

Ok, my motor is apart, and exhaust.

Which parts are worth it to get ceramic coated??

Headers, crossover, downpipe. If you want, the hotside of the turbo too but that means taking it apart.

You could even go to getting heat shields and water pipes done, lol. But that seems like overkill.

Ok.

So they hot side would have to come off the turbo to get it coated? I.e. they can't cover it or tape it off??

And benfits to the intake getting done? To keep heat out?

Maybe just the IC to TB pipe and intake manifold.

No, they beadblast it pretty heavily.

If you want to go crazy, you could start doing engine internals...
Piston domes, head, intake ports... etc
I know swain does stuff like that.

Well, there is a shop right here in town that does nothing but ceramic coatings. They do a lot for a well know tuning shop that is right next door to them, mostly high end muscle cars. I.e. 500-600+ hp Vettes, Supercharged Vipers, etc.
