Alright, here's the deal. The car is taking way to long to sell so I'm now going to part it out....everything. What I'm planning on doing since I won't be taking the parts off myself, is getting a list together of all the parts that people want, then taking the car down to a shop and having everything taken off and shipped out from there to the buyers. So I'm going to start the list here. Things for sale are everything in my sig as well as everything from fenders to windshields to the engine to tail lights to the door handles, and so on. There are a few prices that I will be a little firm on like the wheels, exhaust and suspension, but for the other things I'm willing to bend a little. I'm willing to sell the engine as a whole, or part it out as well. Get to me and I'll start the list. I'm looking to get around $2,000 for the wheels and tires......BRAND NEW with maybe 1200 miles on them. I'm looking to get $1500 for the suspension(24 way adjustable leda coilovers with resevoirs), and around $2500 for my full exhaust system which includes the SFR stg II headers back. Hit me up. If someone's looking for interior, that's going to, just hit me up with a price.

Regards,

Ben

Regards,

Ben

Wow. Hold out. by the time you pay labor on that, you will lose your ***! If you aren't pulling your own parts, keep it in one piece. You'reselling at the WORST time of year. Have you put it on ebay yet? If so put it up again.
Seriously, unless you do ALL of the labor, you will lose you *** parting the car after labor costs. YMMV

I would agree, but I have a friend who owns a shop and can help me out. I will be doing some of the work myself as well, just certain things that I will need help with. I've had the car listed for sell for 8 months and no luck so it's time to try something new. I'm literally almost willing to give the car up..lol, not really. ***also, point of interest, last night my car was hit , so the driver side door hinge and front fender are in need of replacement. I'm willing to sell te car as a parts car whole if someone would like. I would sell for around 9k whole, perhaps this will spark some interest

regards,
Ben

The other Guards Red porsche listed for sale was sold by Paul Riddlestone who moved to China for a few years. It sounds like it has very similar modifications for the most part.
Try posting to Clarks Garage too -- that's where I found the other listing.
I personally dislike eBay as it seems to have gone to **** (there is so much fraud!) and I'll never personally buy a car from there (again :-/).

If you do decide to part it (which you shouldn't just yet!), shoot me a price (and pic?) of the LR DP wastegate and the SFR test pipe.

Wow -- just noticed the thread again. I think it's a bit premature to start thinking of it as a parts car! Minor damage, if anything...

One suggestion: start a new thread. There might be more guys like me who don't click on old threads and miss out on new developments.

BTW, any CA smog/streetability issues or is it a dedicated track car?
