oh yeah! I completely forgot about this! I'll put some pics on tomorrow. It's what you'd call a "simple" piece of fibreglass. (i.e. it's £50 worth!)

Like I said, it's not the most fancy of mouldings, but what do you expect for $50? It's single sided, and sandwiches between the batwing and the bumper. I think it's OK for now though.......

They're from the UK. so it's quite handy for me!
I got it off Ebay, search on the UK site for 944 splitter if he's got any more. I dunno though if he'll ship to the states, and he wouldn't take paypal (i paid him by cheque).

That looks like a pretty smooth solution. I probably missed the whole story.
So he had those custom made?
Of what?
And if it is that cheap, they must be readily available, because I don't think he could recover any kind of tooling cost!!! Alright RENNERS let's find the source..
or I could be wrong

I get the feeling the guy works at one of the porsche places over here, and for some reason is knocking them out over ebay cheap. Whether he is allowed to do it or not, i dunno!
The one advertised on www.clubautosport.co.uk for £100 looks a bit similar (but they have really bad photo's!)
I can contact him if you'd like and find out if he'd be willing to do a run for US 'listers and get them shipped to one place for distribution?????

$200 is still expensive! I thought it was $50 USD. So if he is knocking them out cheap then they regularly retail for $100 USD?- Still cheap.
I don't believe this guy has anything we could not get ourselves. Heck for all we know that is a chevy S-10 front splitter!
That is what we need to find out. Where did it come from originally?
Did yours have a sticker or bag, or tool marking on it?
Fiberglass?
ABS?

Testa, no marking no nothing. Its a fibreglass moulding. That's all I know! Gell/satin finish one side, rough as a$$holes the other!
Olii, Nope. not in Gbg anymore. I left at Christmas. Had enough of the job & the A-holes in it. Just chilling out at home at the moment. It's been some nice time off! Nice work on the splitters. If i'd have known you could have knocked 'em out for that, I'd have made sure I was on the phone PDQ. Never mind.......

Yes it's satin black metallic. Actually there are 3 satin black's in our "gang".
Making a splitter is quite time consuming. It has to laminate in two parts, then these parts must laminate together. It will take two nights to fabricate one splitter, so at the moment we do not plan to sell them. We have also fabricate a mold for A.I.R style nose panel, so let's see how nosepanels will turn out. The next project will be Turbo Cup style hood clones
