Fire Supression System Group Buy!

Thanks Tony. That would be a fairly straight shot and pretty easy to route once past the cassette holder. What about if you are retaining rear seats? My 6 and 4 year olds are already infected with the love of boost and the seats are staying. The pull release location may prove more difficult with the minimum radius bends with that cable.
BTW you should not have posted that link to ZDMAK. Way too many cool tools for sale there. Picked up their triple square set and some thumbwheel ratchets, once I plumb an auxilary oil cooler will ****** up the spanners for the oil lines.
Keep the ideas coming guys!

Just thinking about this - what if the actuator cable went forwards on the passenger side of the tunnel then looped back and around the radio console to have the handle mounted on the vertical section of carpet, drivers side, at a convenient/easily accessable location?

Would the setup come with an inside and an outside cable?
If not, how much would a second cable be?
Or can it be installed inside only and be legal for racing ? Like say on the cage right near the window where both driver and safety personel can reach it.
TIA

As for the question about the second pull, I really don't know but I sure can find out for you. I beleive, from reading the description, that it is legal for racing with just the pull on the inside, but I'm not sure.
Allright guys, you surprised me with the interest so I'll go ahead and get John's blessing, and as soon as he does that (if...) then I can start taking orders and having them ship!

OK everyone, John D. has officially given his consent, so the group buy is on. I can start accepting orders as soon as now, since we have enough interest in this thread.
Chris, is there anything specific you would like to know?
I'll get GB prices for the smaller, and larger versions for you guys to have a choice as well.

I just had a quick look a the system – what’s the actual suppression medium?
I do find it kind of interesting that one of the big sales pitches is that you an recharge it at the track….I can’t really think of why I would be needing that – If I pulled the release to put out a fire I don’t think I would be needed to get back running that quick!!!
Still – it looks like a good system. I would be interested in the larger one – if my fuel line goes on the track car it will need a fair amount of extinguishing power!

I'll get you some answers after class today. Chris, the reason recharge at the track is nice, is because for other systems, you have to mail out the bottle to be filled, and its more expensive the 55 dollars. Even when it just needs a recharge from age.
If you have a minor fire, and it is caught in time, technically your weekend isnt ruined as you can go back out... of course, I'd fix the cause of the fire first!
