Can someone recommend a good place? Try to find out if engine is in good condition, before increasing boost?
Thanks Guys

Randolph Racing. www.ranrace.com - I used to work there, they do excellent work.

There's a garage in Amherst NH - called Jay's Porsche Side of the house....

Email me... I'm always up to help out a fellow Rennlister. B

Can't beat the Toolmaster's hourly rate. ;-)

Jay--good to see you posting again, it's been awhile. Any luck finding a good project car?

Hey Ken -

I'm the proud (ok - sorta proud and weirded out) owner of a slightly used 89 944 S2. She makes a whole lot of noise when running - but I removed her chain tensioner last night and I think that it might be an easy fix. Worst case - out the engine will come... And yeah - there's a good potential for a turbo 3.0 at some point in the future...

She's not a turbo - but she was a track car - came with adjustable Koni's on all 4 corners. Also came with nice wheels - that I need to get and put on one of these days. Interior is pretty good - and the best part is I know the car having seen and helped work on it once or twice. A buddy of mine almost gave her to me - as he just bought a black S2 in the area.

So- anyway - I'm back. And 'tooling' around again.
