I dislike the side trim, i want to pull mine off!

I'd say it goes for 15-20k.

Sorry, couldn't resist

Actually, at one stage, the side protection trim were optional so this is probably correct.

Nitpicking, who, me ?
I noticed a few of those too, but at that point my fingers were tired

I don't like the side trim either, but after the massive number of times I have found decent door bangs, that chip the paint on my side trim...better that than the door, plus it does not take too much off my top end speed

Just park out in the boonies when you go places. It's good for your car, and it results in a nice little walk (which has been proven to be good for people! ).

I read an isurance report that stated parking out further actually INCREASES your chance of having your car stolen or damaged.

Most people are not paying attention when on the outskirts of a parking lot.
And it also gives people quick hit and run/thieve access and getaway without people seeing.

I just drive it,and park it like normal--stuff happens--do I like it--No, but I got bigger fish to fry in life
You can't take it with you!!
And the answer to life, the universe and everything is 42.
Now that you don't have to worry about that, go live and Drive!

Hmm, that does bring up a good point. Maybe I would "Go live and Drive!" if my car wasnt on jackstands in my garage awating repairs....

Just park a little further out (not WAY out, but past where it's a car in every space) and take two. That way no idiots crammed right up next to you givin' you door dings.

I would never park taking two spots, but that's just me...

As for the CO adjustment plug, not all of them had a blue plug, some of them had aluminum plugs.

There's one more nobody mentioned, the car's missing the rear wiper, which was standard in 86 (door guards were NOT standard for any year on the 8 valve cars). The mirror base gaskets appear to possibly have been painted over, which would -of course- be bad for the originality of the car.

I have to admit that I seriously dig that period mega-buck kenwood stereo. I'm usually no fan of aftermarket head units, but that is very cool! That is, however, a wretched alarm install (next to the PS reservoir). Ouch.

I think that the red appearance of the mirror base gaskets is an optical illusion.

Porsche-o-Phile. The side bumper trim was a standard , It was a OPTION to not have it.

that thing is going for a lot of money eh?
