Default Knock Sense - sensitivity

When following the Knock sense setup instructions, (turn the **** CCW to it starts to light at idle, then adjust 15 to 20 degrees CW) I got heavy knock all the time. Even when not at WOT! Cant be right...?
Anyone with a knock sense installed in a 951 here?

I installed it in my track car last year. I followed the instructions and then fine tuned on the track. It now blinks when I shift and occasionally one blink at other high RPM times.

Fill with the highest octane fuel that you can find and go for some spirited drives. Adjust it so that the light is just off. That should do it.

Claus's plan sounds good. Dont worry, there is no way you are knocking all the time.

yes you must take out one resistor. I think it was the G7. after that adjust it to about 50%. On my car it was very UNsensitive with all the resistors in and almost never lightened
Then you drive normal and it lights only the 1st led. If you go on wot then you see how much is lighting. then you adjust it back till only the first two are lighting.
Now I can even see if the lifters make noises whne the engine oil is hot and has low pressure.

My Knocksense has only one LED. Are you sure that you have the Knocksense and not another brand?
