Default Head studs?

I am in the process of putting my top end back together and I was wondering, should i replace the stock head studs? I only plan on running 15psi and maybe 17psi max, I have a WFHG ordered along with all my belts, rollers, and WP. Do you think they will work fine?

I have been told to use the OEM timing belts. Don't cheap out on the belts because if they break... $$$$$$$$$$$ Paragon has some good prices on them. Head studs.... I don't think you need replace them unless you have taken the head off several times.. I replaced mine on my NA when I thought about converting it to a turbo...

Taking those studs out was FUN!!!!!!!!

I would replace the nuts just to ensure good threads on the nuts and smooth faces.

If you have any corrosion on them replace....... The intake side ones develop corrosion more so than the exhaust side.

Replace nuts and washers and that will suffice.

3 head replacements on a set of stock studs is conservative but I have stretched it to 5. Corrosion is your enemy.
