If you are interested in 1:43, Minichamps has a 944S2 for about $45.00 (29 Pounds). It on page 134 of the new issue of Octane, Issue 91, January of 2011..cover talks about four generations of Countach.

They did a good job with that one. Scripted seats and rear widow defroster.

I've been a 1:18 die cast collector for years and have been upset that there is not 944/951. Minichamps finally made a 924, but no 951 yet. If you want a model of your car sign the petition. http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_pe...i?944scale&251

I picked up the 'AutoArt' 951 in November. Must have been modeled off of the Euro 85 as it has the early 44 dash cluster and no lower rock guard panels, which make it look a bit high. Also looks a bit narrow to my eye. The hood doesnt open quite high enough to see the limited engine detail eather. Then theres the ORANGE rear window defroster stripes...makes the real thing look good. They did a decent job on the interior...down to the seat belt buckles, [shoulder harness in the rear?] and the rear hatch struts are a marvel. Wish they had glued on the side door guards instead of molding them with the body, as its a grind off and repaint to smooth out the panels. Overall, I give it a 7/10...one of those 'take what you can get' kind of deals. Guess I'll have to work on this one too. I am grateful that the 951 was released as its a wonderful teaching/explaning tool for my non-'car guy' friends who I wont let near the real thing.

I have received my 951 and it is amazing the detail. It has a driver's side floor mat! The brake detail is great, it looks like real metal rotors. If I can just tint the windows and add 993 wheels it will be perfect.

I bought this the second i saw the thread. It came just the other day, real nice .. except upon taking it out of the box shell both mirrors fell off or rather broke off.. pretty cheap in that area. Now i need some crazy glue !

Bless you for finding that one, Todd!
I'm ordering it. -I'd been toying with the notion of getting a silver one as "close enough", but I'll getting the white now!
