Interesting!
Then combustion is far from complete when the gas exits even with a surplus of fuel.
Yes probably more ignition would produce much more power if it weren't for the knocking. On the other hand lowering boost to increase ignition will probably yield less.

The surplus fuel goes somewhere if it isn't all burned in the combustion chamber. Getting the right balance between boost, ignition advance and fuel for a particular engine is the challenge. That is where the experience of those who have spent lots of hours tuning a particular engine comes into play, but even then each engine has its own peculiarities so what works for one may not work for a similar engine.

I have talked to Nille today and he is pretty sure that you need a bigger hotside. He also said that the exhaust temp will be the same at the exhaust port as at the turbo hotside inlet there the heat will accumulate. You have to lower the backpressure with a bigger hotside or you can stay with the one you have and tune for higher boost at first and the decreasing with higher revs which of course will give you moore torque. He also asked if you are sure that the gas you use is ok. His advice was to try to decide what boost you will try to use and then go up in ignition. When the exhausttemp then go up you can rise the fuel from 12,8 (best power) to 12,5-12,0, if the exhaust temp continues to rise after that there is nothing more to do without changing hotside. One way to test is to wot and brake at the same time so the rev is at half max rev. If the e-temp is ok then but not at higher revs it will be the backpressure in the hotside that will rise to much. Garret hotside will take up to 950 degrees C in a street car he said and for shorter time like a few seconds (up to 5 seconds) about 975-1000 C.

How does the Vitesse stage II spool on a 3liter??
Immediately!

...and from very low rpm.

Thank you Corleone for the advise.

My next test will be with more advance and looking for indications on that the Knock sense is reacting more to rev than knock.
