Had a compression and leakdown run on the 87 951 I'm looking at. First time through the cylinders, got 140-145-150-150. Went back through got 150-75 -150-150.
Re-tried cylinder 2 several times and still got 75. Put the plugs back, started the car shut it off and tried again. 150-145-150-150 with 4-5% leakdown on all cylinders. Any ideas what might cause this? Also found small oil leaks at rear of engine near oil seal and near the oil pressure switch below the oil filter. Are these critical fixes or just keep adding oil if it gets low?

oil seepage there is "relatively" normal. Clean it off, and see if it is just seeping out, or pouring out.
The compression test sounds like a faulty gauge. I can't think of a reason to see THAT much difference.

The really weird thing was, we switched from the 75 cyl. to the next and it read 150. We switched right back to #2 and it still read 75. I figured maybe there was some debris in the spark plug hole that was keeping us from getting a good seal. The oil just seems to be seeping. So this seems normal then.
