Just out of curiosity, why the Apexi brand? Personally, I was leaning toward the Profec b II.

Apexi has the option to control boost in each gear. You can set the boost lower in 1st & 2nd so you don't spin the wheels and then bring on more boost in the higher gears. I like the idea of that kind of flexibility.

I can understand that. I'm cheap so I'll save $200 and try my hand at throttle control....

i think the blitz sbc-id can do this also if u do something with it i hear.

so far with me using the blitz its really kool. it actually shows all my graphs on me getting on boost etcc. and it records it in to memory.

How does it know what gear you are in?
