I would be surprised if NA cars handle WOT differently. From what I understand the DME is basically the same with only minor differences.
One way of checking is with a piggyback computer. A PB changes A/F by changing the AFM signal. That would not work unless the DME uses airflow at WOT.
In this forum it has been stated many times that the 951 DME doesn't use the AFM signal at WOT. Can it be that the NA is subject to the same urban myth?
